When I began the rebranding process last February, I had no idea how much time, energy, and creativity it would take. Even though it has been frustrating at points, the final product and the lessons I learned made this a worthwhile experience. Needless to say, I LOVE MY NEW BRAND! It is like slipping on a pair of really comfy shoes . . . I just want to sigh in relief and delight every time I see my new look. In the coming weeks, I'll explain how I developed my brand and where the new name came from . . . but as the hour is growing late, I will just introduce you to my new brand tonight.
Friends, meet "Madill Creative."
From now on, I will be blogging at www.madillcreative.com. Make sure you check out the new site and bookmark the link! I have so much creative goodness from the last few months to share with you. This summer and fall have been jam packed with photo shoots, great design projects, and more that you won't want to miss!

keeping up and [jewelry]
After keeping up (somewhat) faithfully with this blog for the past few months, I will be taking a break from blogging for the month of June. Between design work, photography, and traveling, there really is not enough time left in the June schedule to blog. Sad, I know. BUT when I begin again in July, expect to see great things!
Part two of this post is a mini advertisement/endorsement for "Mommy and Me Melted Glass Jewelry." Mom, Jennifer, and son, Elijah, took a glass jewelry class last year and fell in love with this art. They have created innumerable colorful and creative pieces over the past few months–of which no two are alike. You can see photos below of a portion of my collection of "Mommy and Me" jewelry.
Interested in adding new jewelry to your collection? Send me an email at thedesignersdaughter[at]me[dot]com and I will put you in touch with these fabulous artists!

cards, cards, [and more cards]
After my last post about making cards, I thought you might have fun seeing the cards that I made last week for the graduation season. Enjoy!

stamps, markers, [and paper]
I feel positively crafty! Between all the graduation and birthday cards I have been making, my fingers have been spending most of their evenings covered in stamp pad ink, "stick-um," and the colored stains of acid-free markers. Such fun!
