Jen is one of my dearest friends and has been a role model of a godly wife and mom to her husband, Chris, and four boys, Noah, Jonah, Elijah, and Micah. I was delighted when she asked me to do their 2010 family pictures.
The day we chose for their family pictures happened to be the coldest, foggiest, yuckiest day of 2010. However, when you have four active boys, you must take advantage of the smallest window of opportunity. Thus after a few photographs at the Bartholomew County Fairgrounds, we drove to the Dement home where we warmed frozen fingers, drank delicious hot chocolate prepared by the Dement boys, and wrapped up the photo session in their cozy family room.
Micah wanted to walk through the cold fog wrapped in a quilt . . . but he couldn't quite keep
the quilt off the ground so his dad lent him a hand.
Jen's worn wood chair turned out to be my favorite prop of the day.
